Standard Cancellation and Refund Timeline
Exceeding 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Guaranteed for: Total refund excluding service charges
Processing Period: 5-7 working days
Service Charge: €50 for payments via credit card
Requisites: Must be solicited in written form through email or telephone
24-72 Hours Before the Charter
Guaranteed for: Half the total cost of charter
Processing Period: 7-10 working days
Service Charge: A €25 deduction from the refund
Requisites: A legitimate cause is required; administrative costs taken into account
Under 24 Hours Prior to the Charter
Guaranteed for: No repayment options available
Exception: Dire situations might be taken into account
Alternative: A voucher for future charters could be provided at the discretion of the management
Requisites: Proof is necessary for emergency appeals
Cancellations Due to Weather
Our Weather Assurance
Our highest concern is safety. If our qualified captain decides that weather conditions are hazardous for sailing, we present flexible choices:
- Complete Refund: Issued in full when rescheduling is not plausible
- Alteration of Schedule: Move your booking to the next viable date with no added fees
- Sailing Credit: Offer a voucher valid for one year from the original date of the charter
Process of Weather Assessment
We determine weather safety by:
- Evaluating wind patterns and speeds
- Assessing wave stature and water conditions
- Checking forecasts for visibility and rain
- Heeding advisories and warnings from maritime authorities
- Taking into account the safety judgment of our professional captain
Decision Making Timeline: The verdict on weather-related cancellations is given no later than 4 hours before the planned departure.
Refunds in Medical Emergencies
Situations of Emergency
We are sympathetic to unforeseen medical crises. These occasions might be eligible for special refund consideration:
- Spontaneous illness or injury demanding hospitalization
- Passing of a close family member
- Urgent military service or recall
- Judicial obligations or court-mandated appearances
- Severe weather impeding travel
Requirements for Documentation
To initiate an emergency refund, the following evidence must be presented:
- A medical certificate or proof from a hospital
- A death certificate, when applicable
- A notice of military order
- A legal summons or notification of jury duty
- Statements of travel restrictions or proclamations of emergency
Processing: Emergency repayment requests are handled within 3-5 working days once the necessary documents are received.
Cancellation by the Operator
Mechanical Failures
If the assigned watercraft encounters irreparable technical issues:
- Replacement Vessel: We will make an effort to supply a comparable substitute
- Complete Refund: Provided if no equivalent replacement can be found
- Partial Repayment: Offered if the alternative vessel comes at a different rate
- Supplemental Compensation: Extra reparation might be available for the inconvenience caused
Non-availability of Crew
On the rare occasion that a licensed crew is not available:
- A substitute crew will be arranged when achievable
- Complete refund if the charter is unable to proceed
- Options to reschedule at no added expense

A fee of €50 for cancellation requests made more than 72 hours ahead
Refunds via Bank Transfer
A €25 fee applicable to all bank transfer repayments

Charter Credits Issuance
Issue Scenarios
In certain scenarios, instead of providing a refund, charter credits might be issued:
- Last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours)
- Cancellations related to adverse weather
- Voluntary alterations requested by clients
- Disruptions in operations
Credit Guidelines
- Usage Period: Valid for 12 months since issuance
- Non-transferable: Cannot be transferred to other individuals
- Worth: Reflects the complete value of the charter without any fees removed
- Utilization: Can be applied to any available sailing
- Expiry: No extensions after 12 months
Compensation for Partial Services
Disruptions during Service
In the event that a charter faces a halt or is shortened due to issues within our power:
- A refund proportional to the non-used duration
- A credit against a future charter of identical worth
- Complimentary services or benefits
Interruptions Caused by Guests
If a charter is ended ahead of schedule due to misconduct or safety breaches by passengers:
- No repayment for the remaining time
- Mandatory full payment
- Potential extra costs incurred
Disagreements in Refunds
If a refund decision is not satisfactory to you, you are permitted to:
- Seek a re-evaluation from our management
- Present further proof or information
- Search for a fair settlement through consumer protection entities
- Consider legal action according to the laws in force

Third Step: Assessment and Completion
We will confirm receipt of your application within a day’s span, assess its merit against our policy, finalize a decision in two days, and carry out accepted refunds as per the specified timeframes.

- Each appeal for refund must be made in a written format
- Refunds are issued in € irrespective of the initial payment’s currency
- We advise obtaining travel insurance
- This protocol may be updated upon a 30 days’ notice
- All refunds are influenced by the respective taxes and regulations
